Emperor!Levi who actually never wanted to be the damn king of anything. Being the only heir to the throne after his late uncle passed away he had no choice but to take the rein of the war-ridden empire Paradis

Emperor!Levi who decides after a long conversation with his consultant Erwin Smith, that the war needed to end, there was no point in continuing something his megalomaniacal uncle has started. And if conflicts aren't solved with war they are being solved with women. There opinion in this doesn't matter, an arranged marriage would be a key to peace and a potential marriage.

Emperor!Levi who offered the Marleyan King Grisha Yeager a generous deal: His cousin Princess Mikasa Ackerman of Paradis and Hizuru would be married off to their second son, Prince Eren Yeager of Marley and Levi would take their daughter in return, making her Empress of Paradis. He knew they wouldn't be able to refuse the deal, considering that Grisha Yeager's second wife, Carla, was once a noblewoman of Paradis.

Emperor!Levi who secretly only offered the deal because King Grishas youngest children were in fact half Eldian.

Emperor!Levi who, when he saw you for the first time, couldn't belive his luck. You, the Princess of Marley, were in fact a true beauty. You not only looked clean but smelled like it too, like you were taking good care of yourself. It truly relived him to see that you weren't filthy like your oldest brother Zeke. He originally planned to offer Mikasa to him, but seeing how he already had a wife, Ymir, a woman with eldian heritage and slave history, he had to give her hand to the younger brother.

Emperor!Levi who thought you were rather shy and docile, but came to realize that you infact were able to keep up with his cynic personality and were well read too.

"At least our children won't be as dumb as the heir to your lands throne" He told you the night before your wedding at dinner.

"I can't argue that. Zeke is an eccentric narcissist, I'm honestly glad to have a different mother than him." You awnsered calmly, taking a sip of your wine, while glancing at your soon to be husband.

Emperor!Levi who could not longer control himself on your wedding night and broke your hymen with a harsh trust of his hips, making you yelp in a mixture of pain and pleasure, as you wiggled under his body, naked and vulnerable. Levi took his sweet time with you, making sure to impregnate you well.

Emperor!Levi who despised the idea of children, but somehow find the encouragement to fuck you every night in hopes to see your belly round with his child, his own heir, soon.

Emperor!Levi who got madly protective over you when the doctors confirmed your pregnancy to him. It went so far he didn't even want you to leave his chambers in fear something could happen to you. You felt furious, trapped and robbed of your freedom. Freedom, something your brother Eren had plenty off now that the war was over thanks to you and his wife, Mikasa.

Emperor!Levi who didn't understand why you were so upset with him, demanding of you to be grateful instead of a "nagging woman". If it wasn't for his own mother to stop her sons madness, you'd probably still be locked up in his room.

Emperor!Levi who nearly cried tears of joy when he held his newborn son in his arms for the first time, calling him Furlan after his late friend, a soldier who died a heroic death in the war. It was bitter, yet filled his cold heart with joy.

Emperor!Levi who found a new obsession in having you, his wife and empress, as an object of his desires, in every way possible. He'd make sure you won't be able to go back to that filth of a kingdom you have been born in. You were his wife now, his very own key to his heart...

POST-ACID HEADCANONS (gore/mental illness tw):

ACIDIC BURNS TO THE FACE. He suffered Grade 3 burns, causing the melted flesh, half-a-face look. Over time, these wounds eventually become scar tissue. Looking less like an open wound, and more like that pinkish disfigured/scarred skin. The pain also stays for years. The nerves ARE damaged, but it heals like the worst and slowest sunburn ever. 

ACIDIC BURNS TO THE HAND. When the acid was splashed on his face, Harvey covered it with his left hand. Because of course, when something happens, you’re first reaction is to touch it. The damage isn’t nearly as bad as it is on his face, but it does stain it with a sunburnt-colored red.

PARTIAL BLINDNESS. The acid did get in his eye, and this so hard for me to write. Ew. Anyways, it does make Harvey go partially blind. It changes the color of his eyes to a bronze-ish? Not like Twilight, but pretty gross, tbh. And, if you look at it in the right light, it looks like it’s covered in a chemical film. However, in the reformed verses, he does get contacts to help correct his vision– BUT it doesn’t entirely fix the problem. In the TF verses, he just learns to aim with one eye.

PARTIAL DEAFNESS. The incident DID take a chunk of his ear entirely off. The acid also slipped into his ear drum, permanently damaging it. He can’t really hear out of it much, if at all, unless he’s wearing a hearing implant.

PARTIAL ANOSMIA. Okay I found this term on Wikipedia, so don’t quote me if it’s not the right term. But Harvey’s sinuses also get screwed over. It melts away a part of his nose, and seeps into his sinuses, melting away all the cartilage and tissue in there. He can still smell things very faintly. however he can still smell burning flesh every now and then.

DAMAGED NERVES. Harvey won’t be able to feel anything on the left side of his face ever again. Sure, if Batman knocks him into next week, he’s going to feel it. But as far as general touch goes? It’s all deadened. It’s a blessing and a curse. 

BURNED VOCAL CHORDS. Some of the acid happened to seep into his vocal chords. Because of this, it’s far more easier to switch to the rough, lower voice of Two-Face, rather than stay at Harvey’s normal tone. Even that sound lowers slightly-- but not enough where it’s a very APPARENT change.

FULL BLOWN MPD. Though I headcanon that he has this condition BEFORE the acid, it’s blown COMPLETELY out of proportion post-acid. Pre-acid, he actively seeks therapy every week, AND he’s on medication to help with his symptoms. Big Bad Harv might not be anything more than a whisper, or a VERY temporary switch in personality ( which we see with him and Dick Lovecraft )-- until Harvey can get himself back in control. Post-acid, everything resorts back to square one. Two-Face comes and goes as he pleases-- having control more often than not, because AT this point, Harvey’s weak ; mentally AND physically.

PSYCHOSOMATIC PAIN/HALLUCINATIONS. In all the verses post-acid, Harvey will TRULY believe his face is melting off again. Sometimes it wakes him up in the middle of the night, sometimes it hits in the middle of the day. Sometimes it lasts for hours on end, but usually after seeing his face and REALIZING that it’s not happening again makes the pain cease. Jim is actually a huge help with this. Being as Harvey can hardly trust himself at this point, Jim is the only one he can trust. So as long as Jim isn’t worried about it, neither should Harv be. 

DEPRESSION/ANXIETY/PARANOIA. Harvey becomes paranoid of EVERYTHING after the acid. Intentions, people, objects, it doesn’t matter. Dent will MOST LIKELY question it’s integrity towards him. The only SOLID thing he has to rely on is his relationship with Jim. Again, Jim can pull him out of this... borderline hallucinatory state and remind him of the truth. He’s had depression and anxiety before the accident, but like all of his other mental problems, they blow up after the accident. In my regular TF verse, he stops taking medication for them, and instead turns to booze to ease the pain. In the reformed!verses, he gets a higher dosage and begins taking them RELIGIOUSLY. 

PTSD/PHOBIA. After the accident, he NEVER steps foot in *insert building where the accident will happen here-- I hope it’s something like Ace Chemicals* again. If it’s in a court room, he’ll never go there on his free will. His PTSD is shown in nightmares, insomnia, occasional flashbacks-- but those are really rare. He also develops this... phobia of a sort for acid. He’ll use it to punish his victims, but Harvey is VERY VERY careful with how he uses it-- and when he IS punishing, it’s usually TF in control. Otherwise, Harvey will not touch that shit with a 90 foot pole.

FRIENDLY REMINDER THAT:

when Jim went all bounty hunter/rogue, Harvey supported him completely. He didn’t exactly agree or personally LIKE the choice Jim made, but those were expressed from a very loving position, and no matter what, if it’s what Jim wanted, Harvey would always support him in that.

during “the purge”, Harvey made sure everyone in his office made it to their cars before going to the GCPD. There, he and Lucius broadcasted the information/warnings, etc. to the population of Gotham. Encouraging them to go home, lock up, don’t go out past nine, etc.

even after it’s been years after the acid, the nerve-endings are still damaged, and is often in pain due to the lack of care from way back in the day.

after the surgeries in the reformed!harvey verse, he still has psychosomatic pain where it feels as though his face is melting off all over again. Sometimes it’s brief 10 second pain, some days it lasts all day.

in all post-acid verses, Harvey has horrible nightmares of the accident-- ones that bolt him awake and send him running to the nearest mirror, just to make sure it’s not happening again. 

Harvey will always take care of his closest Rogues. Freeze is the first that comes to mind, then Riddler and Cobblepot and Harley. Even if he reforms, he’ll always make sure their mental health/living conditions are at least close to standard. If any of them come to him with a change of heart, he will have jobs lined up for them. 

just to see Jim in the Two-Face verse, he’ll sometimes do some stupid shit to get his ass kicked by Batman so then he calls Jim to patch him up. From there, he’ll stall and make stupid excuses to stay longer.

Two-Face really doesn’t care what happens to the corrupt cops. But if he finds out that one of his boys killed a genuine ‘good’ one, it’s judgment day for them, usually. He’s also v v protective of the commissioner. If any of the other gangs/baddies are planning something against Jim, he’ll go out of his way to make sure he’s safe. It’s nothing personal on the opposing party, but Jim will always have his heart.

FRIENDLY REMINDER: 

That my Harvey was good friends with the Fries’-- even to the point of fighting GothCorp for Victor to keep his job. However, due to a corrupt staff, the case was lost. Even after Victor turned into vanilla ice and Nora was frozen/killed, Dent visits Mr. Freeze pretty regularly. If nothing else to give him a LIVING, breathing human to talk to. 

While he doesn’t have much sympathy for Jerome’s case, Harvey really does have a passion for the mental illness. He knows their need, and visits Arkham pretty regularly. Whether it’s for the inmates who had him as a prosecutor, or for the conditions of the facility. 

He’s now watched Essen die and Barnes go crazy. While we’ve only seen it from the dynamic duo’s pov, Harvey also worked closely alongside both captains. He’s only hoping that Bullock doesn’t end up the same way. On her birthday, he’ll visit Essen’s grave, maybe bring her favorite flowers. And every so often, he’ll visit Barnes. It’s not easy watching him in the this state, but Dent has hope for him. 

Even though he would’ve rather ANYONE become mayor than Cobblepot, he still does his role/job as best he can. Even if it means giving Oswald advice every now in then, smoothing things over between him and the public, making him look not quite as... disastrous as seems, etc.

PHYSICAL REFORMED!HARVEY HEADCANONS. So, I don’t really have the icons/photoshop ability/time to make Harvey look like he’s going through reconstructive facial surgeries SO, until I figure out how to do so, here’s what Harvey is physically going through. I posted something like this a LONG-ass time ago, but I feel the need to update it, because by the time the wedding rolls around, he still won’t be completely healed.

ACIDIC BURNS TO THE FACE/RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERIES (ow): So reformed!Harvey HAS gone through the acid incident. He went rogue for a while, but Jim pulled him back. You can read all about that on the verses page. Anyways, he suffered Grade 3 burns, causing the melted flesh, half-a-face look. And even after being sent home from the hospital, the pain doesn’t just disappear. It’s ALWAYS there, BUT to fix that problem and the Phantom of the Opera look, he decides to get surgery to restore his face. The whole process calls for SEVERAL operations and MONTHS of healing. I’ll go into more detail on the headcanons page if you can handle the gory details, but thank you, Tommy Elliot! While he looks... VERY recovered from where he was by the wedding, there’s still some deformities you could notice if you looked hard enough.

REFORMED!HARVEY HEADCANON. Harvey has TOTALLY been offered higher-up jobs than District Attorney. Even in law school, there were “recruiters” who would witness the debates/fake cases and offer him positions in their law firm, etc. on the spot. The government has even approached him about running for different offices around the nation. However, Gotham took his heart. It’s home. And for the longest time, he would never even think about doing something other than serving the city.

BUT, after the acid and Harvey goes rogue for those few weeks or so, he loses his faith in the city AND it’s system. He kind of realizes that while he’s doing all he can for Gotham, it will NEVER be enough. A district attorney doesn’t have the authority/push that a city like Gotham needs. The law is practically disregarded there, ANYWAYS. 

So after discussing it with Jim, he gets in touch with one of his contacts and moves up the scale. Harvey finally agrees to run for attorney-general for the state of NY/NJ ( depending on where you place Gotham. I prefer NY, though. ) Anyways, he’ll run on the condition that he can be based IN Gotham and travel very rarely. He DOES have a husband at home, now.
